What Prime Performing sells
Everything starts with one measurement session. What follows is your choice. Clubs and teams buy the same services, delivered to a whole squad.
Measurement
The complete picture
Full Performance Assessment
$300The complete testing session, and the baseline every later number is compared against. If you only ever do one thing here, do this.
- Strength, power, speed and asymmetry
- Protocols and muscle groups chosen for your sport
- Your Performance Profile document
Measurement
Or one question, answered properly
Two narrower sessions, each built around a single question. Shorter and cheaper than the full assessment because they measure less, not because they measure it less carefully.
Strength Asymmetry Screening
$150How much force does each side of my body produce, and where am I unbalanced?
- Left against right, by muscle group
- Muscle groups chosen for your sport
- Your Asymmetry Profile document
Force–Velocity Profile
$200Is my power limited by force, or by speed?
- Which of the two is in deficit, and by how much
- An estimated one-rep maximum on each lift tested, with no maximal attempt
- Your Force–Velocity Profile document
Measurement
Measure again
There is no separate reassessment product and no reassessment price. Testing again is the same session booked again, at the same price — $300 for the Full Performance Assessment, $150 for the Strength Asymmetry Screening, $200 for the Force–Velocity Profile — run exactly the same way, so the difference between the two is a result and not a change of method.
When that falls depends on the athlete, the sport and the point in the season. Usually it is the end of a training block.
The ongoing work
Programming and monitoring
The same two services together cost $90 a month less, and they work better combined — the monitoring is what the program gets adjusted on.
A measurement session is the sensible way in — the program is written on your numbers, and the monitoring is read against them — but it is not a gate: tell me what you need and we start where it makes sense. Re-testing is included in Return to Performance; elsewhere it is booked as another session.
Clubs and teams
Squad pricing
Clubs and teams buy the same services, delivered to a whole squad on site. The per-athlete rate falls as the squad grows, so a bigger squad always costs less per head.
Tell me the squad size, the sport and the dates you are considering, and you get a written quote with the per-athlete rate and the total.
Questions
Before you book
Do I need to already be a serious athlete?
No. Every number is measured against your own baseline rather than against anyone else’s, so the work is the same whether you compete nationally or train three times a week. What it does assume is that you train regularly and want to know whether it is working.
I already have a coach. Does this replace them?
Not unless you want it to. The assessment and the monitoring sit alongside whoever writes your training — plenty of athletes keep training where they train and use the numbers to steer it. The Monthly Training Program is for athletes who do not have a coach, or who want the training rebuilt around what their numbers show.
Where does the testing happen?
In person, because force, jump and bar-speed testing needs the equipment and needs to be run the same way every time. That can be at our base in Banora Point, or at your own club or training venue by arrangement — the equipment travels. Everything after the testing — the program, the monitoring, the reports — is remote, so you can be anywhere.
What does the daily monitoring actually ask of me?
About two minutes a day. A short wellbeing form in the morning, a note on your session afterwards, and on set days a jump and a morning heart-rate reading taken through an app on your own phone. If you skip a day the system keeps working; it is built to tolerate gaps.
Will this stop me getting injured?
No, and anyone promising that is selling something they cannot deliver. Injury has many causes and no test forecasts one. What measurement gives you is an imbalance you can train, a drop in readiness you can act on before it becomes a bad week, and a before-and-after you can see rather than guess at.
Are the tests the same for every sport?
No. The protocols and the muscle groups measured are chosen for the sport you play — what gets tested on a rugby player is not what gets tested on a basketballer. The battery stays consistent enough that your own numbers remain comparable over time, and specific enough to describe the demands you actually face.
How long does a session take?
About 75 minutes for the Full Performance Assessment, and about 45 for the Strength Asymmetry Screening or a Force–Velocity Profile — including the explanation of your results at the end. You see your numbers on the day; the analysis comes with your written report, once the data has been worked through properly.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. The monthly services run month to month and you can stop with 30 days’ notice, and the one-off sessions carry no obligation to continue. What is worth understanding before you start is that these numbers need history before they mean anything. Almost nothing here is read against a population average — it is read against your own normal, and your own normal has to be built first. Morning readings need a couple of weeks before the baseline settles. The load ratios need a month of training behind them before they describe anything real. Your wellbeing and jump numbers only become useful once there is enough history to tell a bad day apart from a trend. The first month is mostly the system learning you; from the second and third it starts answering questions, and a reassessment at the end of the block closes the loop.
Do you work with athletes under 18?
Yes, with consent from a parent or guardian, a youth health screening, and training written for a developing athlete rather than scaled down from an adult’s.
What do I actually have at the end?
A written document with your own numbers in it, in your hands — yours to keep, to show a coach, or to give a physiotherapist. That document is the most visible part of the service.
Rescheduling and cancellation. Sessions can be moved free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if you do not arrive, half the fee is refunded. Monthly services can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice, taking effect at the end of the current month. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
